【戦評】
３試合を終えて勝ち点１しか獲得できていない早稲田。上位進出のためにも負けられない一戦となった。しかし序盤からあまり気持ちが乗らず、日大に先行を許してしまう。それでも伊舎堂博武副将（社学４年、沖縄・興南高）の華麗な７ｍスローを皮切りに、５点ビハインドを約１０分で同点に追い付く。堅守から三輪颯馬副将（スポ科４年、愛知高）の速攻も決まり、早稲田らしさが徐々に表れるようになった。序盤の劣勢を感じさせない内容で前半を終えることができた。
攻撃のリズムをつくった宮國義志（社学３年、沖縄・浦添高）
そして後半、伊舎堂のＤＦを翻弄するドリブルからのシュートが２本連続で決まり、観客をどよめかせる。ベンチのムードも最高潮となった。しかし今秋好調を維持している日大も粘り強く得点を決めてくる。そしてまたこの日も、退場で雰囲気が変わってしまう。高橋拓也（人科４年、群馬・富岡高）がＤＦに絡まれながらポストシュートを決めた直後、高橋がスローオフの妨害となってしまい退場。勝ち越しムードから一転、３点のビハインドを負うこととなった。それでも２度も顔面にシュートを当てられながら、ＧＫ永田奈音（スポ科４年、宮崎・小林秀峰高）が幾度となくビッグセーブでピンチを救う。しかしオフェンスの中心であった伊舎堂が退場してからリズムを崩し始め、ＤＦが崩壊。残り１０分の大量失点でこの日も白星を逃した。
